Project Graduation

Oyster River High School
Project Graduation
June 2020 (date TBD)

Barbara Lilly & Jolene Shuman, co-Chairs

Project Graduation is a program offered by many high schools in the United States in which organized, adult-supervised, and alcohol-free activities are offered as a post-graduation party. It is a senior parent planned, junior parent chaperoned, safe, fun and chemical-free experience for the students on their graduation night.  The class participates in activities where the graduates can celebrate one last time all together.  The Project Graduation Committee provides transportation, food, and lots of fun.  The class gets all the wonderful memories and the families get peace of mind.  It’s a win-win!

This year, the celebration will start at approximately 10:15pm at the high school and the graduates will be returned around 6:30 am the following morning. Students MUST have someone to drop them off AND pick them up. Students will not be allowed to drive themselves home for safety reasons. The parent/guardian letter and the Permission, Release and Liability Agreement, along with the itinerary for the night will be available soon.

All donations are welcome and very much appreciated. Our tax exemption number is 02-6002328. Donations can also be made online at or by a check made payable to "ORHS Project Graduation" and delivered to:
