Senior Celebration 2021

Dear Caregivers,

Within just weeks, our Class of 2021 will walk across the graduation stage and head out into the world as graduates of Oyster River High School! Before they head off for their next adventure, we are excited to offer them a special evening to celebrate what has truly been an unprecedented high school experience.

On June 10th, from 8pm-11pm, we invite the graduating class to a farewell Senior Celebration outdoors at the high school. Although, due to COVID, this event will not be the typical overnight Project Graduation, we think the planned alternative festivities will be just as memorable and align with the same goals of providing a safe, substance-free, chaperoned gathering. The night includes rides, games, activities, a DJ and dance tent, and the beloved Senior Slide Show. Students also will receive surprise ORHS-themed gifts.

Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, many parent volunteers, school officials, raffle supporters, and everyone who helped in any way to raise funds for this event, the cost to attend Project Graduation is only $10.00 if registered and paid by June 6th. After that date, tickets will be $20 at the door. Please remember that students must have the completed Permission, Release, and Liability Agreement form completed before they are able to attend or with them upon entering the event. *Parents must sign on forms for youth under 18 years of age. Please register through Eventbrite: ORHS Senior Celebration Tickets

*Please note, funds raised through ticket sales help cover the cost of this event, however, we want everyone interested to attend. If the fee is cost-prohibitive, please use code ORHS2021 to register for free. This is an honor system and no one will be questioned.

After registering through Eventbrite you will need to sign and return the attached permission, release, and liability agreement. You may either drop the form and the fee to the ORHS Main Office in the Project Graduation box or mail it to ORHS, 55 Coe Drive, Durham, NH 03824. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Project Graduation Chair: Kristin Forselius,

Important Reminders:

  1. Any student with symptoms of COVID 19 or exposure to someone positive for COVID 19 within 14 days prior to the event unfortunately will not be able to attend. A COVID 19 declaration form must be completed for entry and will be available at check in.
  2. This is a substance-free event. Students are encouraged to leave any personal belongings at home or in their locked cars. If students need medication or other personal items during this time, they should bring them, but be aware that personal belongings must be checked.
  3. All attendees are required to wear masks.
  4. Once a student leaves the event, they cannot re-enter it.
  5. Project Graduation is organized and hosted by ORHS parent volunteers. This is not a high school sponsored event. We appreciate your support.
